Sheffield Train Station Pianos now in tune! (Plus details of my upcoming availability)

I had an unusually eventful week which at last has given me something to write about on this blog! After a few full days of piano tuning in Sheffield, Doncaster and Rotherham, I finally had an afternoon free on Wednesday which I made use of by tuning the two upright pianos at Sheffield train station (as a gesture of goodwill to the pianists of Sheffield I did it for free). While tuning and repairing the pianos several commuters approached me to book piano tuning appointments, after which I was fully booked the next two days (unusual to have that much work at this stage). To finish off a busy week I travelled to North Yorkshire yesterday for full day of piano tuning in Fylingthorpe, Scarborough and Burniston, while also managing to do some promotional work at some of the venues in Scarborough town centre.

News regarding prices + My availability this week (including times for Whitby and Scarborough customers)

Last week I lowered my prices by £5 in the hopes of expanding my customer base outside of Sheffield. The new prices are £35 for first time customers in Sheffield and £37 for any piano tuning job outside Sheffield. This seems to be working as I have already had requests from people in Rotherham, Doncaster, Chesterfield, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Holmfirth, Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington, Leeds and Hull who were all looking for a piano tuner & technician, which is great! I love travelling outside of Sheffield for piano tuning work, so don’t be hesitant about contacting me if you live outside of Sheffield (long distances are not an issue for me)!
